[ Corrections ]

When we get it wrong, we fix it — fast and in print.

Trust is the only asset a newsletter has. Here is how we protect yours.

1. Report it. Email corrections@thedailydrumbeat.com with the edition date, the item, and what you believe is wrong. Every message is read.
2. We verify within 24 hours. We check the claim against the original source and at least one independent source before deciding.
3. We correct in two places. The web edition is updated with a dated correction note at the top of the affected section, and the next day’s newsletter prints the correction in its own box. We never quietly rewrite the record.
4. Corrections vs. clarifications. A correction fixes a factual error (names, numbers, dates, attributions). A clarification adds context where wording was accurate but unclear. Both are labeled and dated.
5. Sources stay visible. Because every item runs with two checked sources, you can always check our work. That is by design.
6. Sponsored content is always labeled. Anything in the Green Book section is marked "Sponsored" — it never runs mixed in with our reporting.
